Prof. Adewale Alawiye- Adams, a Professor of Banking and Finance, The Provost  College of Social & Management Sciences and the Head of Department of Banking and Finance Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti, He is a professional Banker an accountant and a marketer.  A financial and management consultant, a financial analyst and investment strategist. He is a consultant for the awareness creation and implementation of the Millennium Development Goals.

Prof. Alawiye- Adams an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers London, An Associate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), Fellow of the institute of marketing management (UK).  He is a long standing member of the banking institute of Nigeria, has served the institute in various capacities including chairmanship of various branches of the institute. He also taught virtually all banking related courses at both undergraduate and Post graduate levels in public and private universities across the country.

Prof. Alawiye- Adams holds both his masters and doctorate-degrees in banking and finance; He has widely published in banking, finance, investment management, business management, development strategy among others. He is the Editor in Chief for a regional professional Journal of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, “Ondo State Banker.” He is currently, Associate Editor and reviewer to several international social and management sciences academic journals. He is currently on the board of the international journal of law and business management.

Prof. Alawiye- Adams’ research interest is principally in the area of small and medium scale industries financing, and also in banking services delivery/ bank lending and credit administration.
